Hi, this post is especially made for Kina Grannis, who in my opinion is one of the greatest vocal talents I have listened to in quite some time. I agree with the comment posted in her YouTube channel, stating that it might be a return of real talent back to theĀ  music industry. I surely hope Kina hits the big time, she really deserves it.

I was inspired by her version of Hallelujah (By Leonard Cohen) – The version I used for the recording was posted up in July 2008. It has over 1.9 million views. And all of them well deserved. Kina’s performance in the clip seem to be so heartfelt, it really is a must watch. VIDEO LINK HERE

I really hoping Kina responds to my Video response, I would love it if she recorded a version without guitar, so that I can add it to the composition and place it in the mix. The current version has the video soundtrack in the mix. I found it really difficult to place Kina’s recording into the overall mix, the reason for this is because the recording is really a guitar/ vocal recording, it was not intended to be mixed into another track.

I have added links to the full WAV version of the song below. So Kina if you are reading this please lets make a wonderful project together. You can just play it from a music player with headphones on, this way I can get a clean vocal. It would be great if you could record the vocal in a quiet place that has very little echo or reverberation.

The track has a lead flute added to it to help you with timing and placement in the track.
