I’ve had this console sine around 98, it’s been a good work horse, but I’ve outgrown it. This console would be ideal for a live band or someone who is wanting to set up a mixing studio in their house.
This is ideal for someone with an 8 channel I/O card in their computer, since the console has 8 bus sends you can multi-track straight into your PC.
Alternatively you can mic up you band and record sessions with control over every mic input separately. Whatever your application this console is a great starting point for a musician starting off in multi-track recording.
Each channel has a 4-band EQ with 2 semi-parametric mid bands
6 assignable aux sends, all switchable pre-/post-fader
6 stereo aux returns with multiple routing options
8 subgroups simultaneously feed 24 multitrack outputs
Highest quality discrete balanced mic preamps with -20 dB pad, low-cut 100 Hz 12 dB/oct and 48v phantom power
Balanced tape in/outs, switchable for -10 dBV or +4 dBu operation
Channel, group and mix insert points; 100 mm high-precision logarithmic tapered faders.
Separate solo in place and PFL buses available
2 track tape monitoring with multiple routing options
2 headphone mixes, control-room mix, and studio mix, all seperatly assignable
Talkback facility with built-in microphone

Alesis Monitor one Studio Monitors – 2 units
Ive used these since 1992, although this pair was bough in 1998, along with the matched Alesis RA-100 amplifier.
In my old career as a mastering engineer I used these to master quite a large number of recording. If you are into modern music such as dance and R&B these are great. However they are not to bad for rock either.

I’d prefer to sell these to anyone within a 2 hour driving distance from Sydney. I’d like to deliver them since it will be really expensive to ship these. This is real analogue equipment so it’s not light. I’m happy to deliver them to the interested buyer, it would also give me a chance to show you how to use it.
Alternatively I have looked at shipping options for sending this gear and we are looking at a 57kg shipment – I looked at some freight companies and a rough estimate from Sydney to Perth is about $140 AUD. It should be cheaper for other states.
Again please contact me for more info. firstname.lastname@example.org
